must be up to date on Rabies, Distemper -DHLPP combo, and Bordatella. As of 2011, the Vets are recommending you update your
bordatella every six months and it is better (if available) to alternate between the intranasal and the injected
vaccinations. By alternating it will cover more strains of bordatella virus). Vets have already seen more cases
of bordatella in the last 2 years than in the past by only doing a yearly bordatella vaccination and are now
recommending bordatella vaccinations every six months.
Don't
forget to also have pets on a heartworm and a flea and tick preventative. Also, there is a 48 hour waiting
period before/after bathing your pet to apply a topical flea and tick preventative. (Frontline, Advantix, etc....) PLAY DAY PRICING: small-med (5 to 40 pounds) $12 Large and up (41 +)-
$15 *Intact Male dogs still incur an intact fee(dogs not neutered older than 5 months).
Please do not bring females (in heat) to play day until completely out of season.
BOARDING PRICES as of May 1st, 2011 Sending
your pets to Break of Dawn is like sending them to camp! It is very important that our Pet Guests are
SOCIAL. This should be a GREAT experience for your pet. We do everything in our power to keep your pets safe and comfortable. We
caterer to puppies (with completed puppy vaccinations and bordatella) to your more mature and elderly pets.
Dogs
that are escape artists: dig to get out and jumping or climbing fences do not work well with our program.
If you bring a dog exhibiting these behaviors we cannot be held liable/responsible for their injury or safety. With
that being said, any behaviors that could potentially harm themselves or others must be brought to our attention at
the time of booking...not the day of boarding. It never hurts to also remind the staff member checking in
your pet of special needs/behaviors.
CATS

DOG Pricing(based on weight) Per
Calendar Day /we do not charge on 24 hours periods.
This includes: kennel space-sleeping area & play time 5 to 8 hours a day with a mid-day break. Time
difference depends on weather conditions.

- Social,
Intact Males= Small (5-40 pounds) add $5/per day
- Large intact males (41 pounds and UP) =
add $8/per day *we cannot take unsocial/or aggressive dogs- no pits or pit
bull crosses no exceptions*
- PRIVATE YARDS(owner must requested, or a must for non-social dogs)=add $6 per day. We have to schedule
the private yards in ADVANCE and may NOT be available during PEAK seasons (summer/holidays) it is always best to call and
ask if in doubt.
- Intact Females
(applies if coming in, going, out, or actually in season) add +$5/per day
- Oral Medications: NO CHARGE- if prescriptions are in
your ziplock pre-packaged food
- Add $1 per prescription for each time we administer medication
(if the same rx is given 2 times a day- it will be a $2 charge/per day)
- SPECIAL PRESCRIPTIONS- If your dog requires INSULIN/or any medication
that has to be given at a SPECIFIC TIME SCHEDULE- or a Raw diet meal you will need to contact the kennel for specific
pricing (according to your dogs needs)
- All Liquid Ear Medications: ( flushing and/or ear RX applications) each treatment will incur a $2 charge.

Important Note to Customers:
To help better serve You, and make our kennel more efficient: Whenever you call (1st choice) include the complete
information required: dates you will be coming, time for drop off and pick up (see our hours of operation for our windows
of opportunity) we do request that you give us a 1 hour window in which to
drop off and pick up. This aids us in planning our staffing and our working schedules. We also need to know if
you would prefer any grooming at that time (this does not say that you cannot make changes as times draw nearer). We
do understand that sometimes you are booking months in advance BUT,
it is the decision of the owner that NO RESERVATIONS WILL BE HELD WITH OUT- date,
times: drop off and pick up, and grooming services. We, at Break of Dawn, appreciate your cooperating in this
matter. Special NOTE: FAX boarding agreements and shots ahead of your stay. Thank you for helping us in this
matter.
*Service outside business hours are at the discretion of management and will
incur additional charges!!!** If you are unable to come during during our normal business hours you will need
to notify us in advance to request early drop off or late pick up. This extra service will incur a $10 charge/per
30 minute increment. This does not guarantee that this service will be available in all
cases. All exceptions must be approved by Nita Mawyer (Owner) in advance. In cases of Emergencies call the kennel @ (804-795-5933)
